Virtual Primespeak

This online version of the unique and world-class patient communication program –  Primespeak, gives participants the necessary tools to build strong patient-clinician relationships whilst simultaneously enhancing case acceptance.

The program is split into 3 weeks of learning and is designed as a complete program, where each module has to be completed before given access to the next module.

Week 1- Primespeak. The fundamentals of patient communication

Patients can be suspicious of dentists when they meet them for the first time. Will it be expensive? Will it hurt? Will I be “sold” something I don’t really need? Can I trust them?

The following topics are designed for the clinical teams, but any team member will benefit.

  • Five Laws of Patient Behaviour
  • Building Trust and Balancing Our Communication Zones

The first week of Primespeak also includes 10 videos to be completed by you. Once you completed your three virtual classrooms and watched the 10 videos, you will be invited to the second week of training.

Week 2 - The New patient Exam. Tools for the Pre-clinical Discussion

Primespeak is a toolkit, loaded with useful tools. The key to a successful New Patient Exam can be found in the pre-clinical discussion, where trust is built, where the dentist can educate the patient in a non-threatening way and where report is being built to help the patient understand what possibly is going on in their mouth.

  • Introduction to the Eavesdrop exam

The second week of Primespeak also includes 6 videos to be completed by you. Once you have completed your three virtual classrooms and watched the 6 videos, you will be invited to the third week of training.

Week 3 - The New patient Exam. Tools for the Clinical Exam and Consultation

Presenting treatment options to the patient can be daunting, both for a new dentist and for a more experienced dentist. The fear of coming across with a sales agenda, can be stressful and many dentists feel uncomfortable presenting options in a way that patients feel they are still in control.

The third week of Primespeak concludes the program and on completion of the final 8 videos and the final quiz, you will receive your certificate that entitles you to 13 CPD points.

You will now have access to the Primespeak Alumni Group on PrimeGo, for an additional 3 months. Here you can discuss cases with other dentists and share success challenges with other Primespeak dentists.
